A great value for the money

I have been fairly impressed with AmazonBasics products, and this iPhone case is no exception. In the past I have used both high-end and low-end iPhone cases. Even though this Amazon case does not have all the bells and whistles of the higher end ones from other manufacturers, it is definitely miles ahead of some cheap ones that I had tried out in the past. The case is sturdy, well designed and extremely easy to put on your iPhone. The texture of the case feels really good in your hand and it provides you with a solid and comfortable grip. My only complaint is that the area of the case around iPhone's "home" button is a bit too snug - it hinders your access to that button a bit. Other than that, this is a very good case and a great value for your money.

A great in-between solution--increased protection without adding bulk

The up-side of the AmazonBasics iPhone cover is the hard shell, all over non-slip finish, it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone, and the price. The down-side of this casing is that there are no protective pieces over the volume buttons, power socket, or on/off button. Overall, it is a nice in-between solution perfect for someone working in an office or some other non-harsh environment.

GOOD-LOOKING ARMOR FOR THE 3G(S) iPHONES

Five EXCELLENT Stars! This red/black form-fitting rigid shell for the iPhone 3G and 3GS is a marvelous piece of armor. You simply open it by pulling loose the black bottom part, drop in the iPhone, top first, and securely close the black bottom part. It gives not only protection for the back and sides of the phone, but it also helps to keep the bottom from sliding around on a slick surface. All controls are accessible and there is no issue with camera lens, charging, headphones, and, in my case, use with the 2 different speaker/docks that I own. 1 year warranty. Highly Recommended. Five USEFUL Stars.
